I've reached a milestone in the writing of my novel, having hit the 40,000 word mark. That's about half way and while it may not be much to some of you reading this, it's the most I've ever written in my life. I think I deserve some cake.

May I ask what your novel is about?
Thank you all, I've had me cake and eaten it. The novel is about.. well... it's a quirky comedy that's also a bit sad. Just like me really.
